Change is a Good Thing
I've struggled some in the past to figure out the direction of my blog. Lately it's been running more in the vein of life lessons and faith, but right now my life is calm, quiet even. It's nice to have a time of rest and recovery after months of stress. For the first time in almost a year, I'm not worrying about doctors bills or whether I'll feel good enough to make it to work, and I've realized there are a lot of areas of my life that have been put on 'hold', for lack of a better word.
And, as an added bonus, here's some of the music that I've been listening to:
1) Tribulation - Matt Maeson (cause I'm a sucker for raspy voices)
2) Beautiful Addiction - Nate Feuerstein Ft. Brady Schmitz & Danielle Swift
3) ILYSoWhat - Hannah Ellis (cause I'm a sucker for pop/country songs)
4) Bruises - Lewis Capaldi
5) Heartache on the Dance Floor - Jon Pardi
6) Broken Vessels - Hillsong Worship
7) Jesus I Come - Elevation Worship
8) Anchor - Hillsong Worship
So there you have it, a few of my favorites right now.
My health is more of a priority to me now. Not that I ever wanted or was trying to be unhealthy, but I've realized just how important it is to my overall well-being. I'm kind of obsessed with apple cider vinegar (with the mother, of course). I like to make a drink with lemon juice and honey to help cut the flavor a little. It's supposed to have all sorts of health benefits.
I'm also looking at labels on everything from makeup and shampoo to food and cleaning supplies. It's worth spending a little more on organic and natural products after hearing about how bad it is to use products with parabens and sulfates and other chemicals.
I've also had a few people recommend the Whole 30, so maybe one of these months I'll actually give it a try, I'm just not sure I'm quite ready to give up my chocolate and quesadillas yet. :)
