It's been a while since I last posted. It seems like the longer I go without posting, the harder it becomes. But, tonight I am breaking that vicious cycle. Spring break was very relaxing. I watched some TV, did a little hiking, wrote a little, and did absolutely no homework.
But spring break is over, and I'm backing to looking for internships, and doing homework. And craving Chipotle. So far I'm having a little progress with the internships, a little progress with the homework, :) and sadly, no Chipotle.
I have another workshop coming up for my Creative Writing class on Tuesday, the problem is, I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to write about. So far its set in Alaska. The main character is a woman. So, I now have to take those bits and pieces and create something worthwhile. Maybe I'll post some of it when I finish it.
A-Z Rewrite Advice:
D: push the details--people, places, things. Show in quick strokes rather than sentences and paragraphs. Show what you're seeing or hearing, or smelling, or touching, when you think of that person, place, or thing. Don't make the reader do your job.
