Incandescence

 Happy April! As I mentioned in my previous post, I've been in an unusually motived-to-write kind of mood. Until January, trying to write anything creative felt a bit like trying to dig a well with a teaspoon--incredibly slow, painful, and pointless--so I didn't write, or at least not much. But in January I had my 'aha!' moment. I think a lot of it is thanks to God, books, and maybe even a shift in my own thinking, I finally wanted to write again. Instead of a teaspoon I had the proper tools to dig my well. So to speak. Anyway. I have (unofficially) completed my second book--ever! The first book I wrote a few years ago is collecting dust in a box somewhere and is better off never seeing the light of day, but I have hopes that I can actually salvage this book. Of course, its far from done right now. The first draft is just a starting point, and its going to take a lot of work to get it anywhere near where I would like it to be.
