I just saw this awesome video for one of my favorite shows! Yes, I am a hard core Doctor Who fan.

I like to have eye-catching titles. Just sayin'. But, as you might have gathered from my blog title, I went to Pittsburgh this weekend. My TPC (Technical and Professional Communication for those of you who might not know) prof takes us TPC students to a city of her choosing. Last year it was Chicago, this year 14 of us went to Pittsburgh. Thursday we went to one of our classmates houses for dinner. Friday, we visited the tech writing department at Compunetix, then explored some of the city. Places like this--we got wet standing in front of the fountains taking pictures but it was worth it! I love the colors, the blue and the orange. Lots of water! Random skyscraper--the top reminds me of a modern castle. Saturday we went to the Cathedral of Learning . We spent a couple of hours there walking around, exploring the different classrooms (different countries from around the world decorate the classrooms in their traditional classroom style). The Austrian room....

We had some tornadoes down south of us. And then snow. Gotta love Ohio. I've been on several walks lately and took my camera along just in case. I'm no photographer, but here they are. They aren't the best quality because I took them with my phone, but I forgot to bring my camera charger and my battery is low. I love the green against the white snow. Back-country gravel roads surrounded by--you guessed it--cornfields. Green ferns growing on a large rock (you can't really tell its a rock from this angle).
