Thanksgiving Break is Such an Amazing Thing

Image
Right now I'm lounging around in my grandparents living room watching me a little Mythbusters. And drinking coffee and eating creamsticks. Yes...life is good. But enough about me. Let's talk about...England!! It is official--once I pay the deposit I am officially going. Speaking of England, I just got an email from the professor I will be taking the photography class with (did I mention its a photography class?)sent a link to this awesome tour we might go on while we are in London. (I just love saying that!)It's called Unseen Tours--here is the link to the site: http://sockmobevents.org.uk/ It's worth checking out. And the video is pretty neat too, you can see a little more of what they are talking about on their site. But, since the title of this post involves the word Thanksgiving, I should probably talk about it...Like how awesome pumpkin pie is. Or how I love cranberry sauce and turkey. I don't think I've met a Thanksgiving dish yet that I don't ...

Owl City, Apple Cider and Snow Flurries

Apparently it snowed the other day. For about two seconds. And then it went back up to 60 degrees. Gotta love Ohio! But anyway, that's not really that exciting. Friday night Owl City performed here on campus--it was pretty epic! I wish I had listened to more of his music before the concert. I recognized most of them, but I think it would have helped... On another note, I have decided to go around to all of the coffee shops here in town to see who has the best apple cider. So far its Stoney Creek, then Rinnova. I still have to go to Beans and Cream. Anyway, my life has not been terribly interesting the last few days. Classes are getting crazy with the end of the semester looming. It's amazing how quickly it goes!

Cheltenham England and Pear Trees

I am officially a pear tree grower. Yes. I just started my blog post talking about pear trees. But I have to say, the idea that I planted a seed last fall, and now it is a foot tall tree flourishing in the ground is quite awesome. But that is not the only reason life is good. I am applying to go to England in May for an Intro to Photography class. It's been on my 'bucket list' to go back to England, we didn't get to spend enough time there when I went as a freshman in high school. This time, we would be (hopefully) be spending the first week in London, and then going out to Cheltenham for the last two weeks. I started researching Cheltenham, England, and it looks amazing! This photo of Cheltenham is courtesy of TripAdvisor This photo of Cheltenham is courtesy of TripAdvisor This photo of Cheltenham is courtesy of TripAdvisor I'm already excited and I haven't even applied yet...If I don't get accepted for some reason, I may never recover!
